Orange Resident Follows in Mother's Footsteps

Legacies from the incoming Class of 2022 were recognized in February at the annual Orientation for Incoming Freshmen.

From Sacred Heart Academy: Legacies from the incoming Class of 2022 were recognized in February at the annual Orientation for Incoming Freshmen. Nine members of the class have mothers who are alumnae and four members of the class have grandmothers who are alumnae. Twenty-eight class members have one or more sisters who are current students or graduates of the Academy (33 sisters in all.) Members of the entering class come from 20 towns and 42 feeder schools.

“Sacred Heart legacy is again strongly represented in this class. We are particularly struck with the number of alumnae who are sending their daughters to Sacred Heart. The presence of these young women at the Academy is a testament to the importance that families place on the values learned here, and their desire to ensure that the Sacred Heart tradition continues,” announced Director of Admissions Elaine Lamboley ’60 in welcoming the Class of 2022.

The following members of the Class of 2022 are Sacred Heart Academy Legacies:
