Orange Selectmen Rethinking Gun Show on Town Property

The previously approved gun show is a fundraiser for the American Legion Post 127

A decision to hold a gun show on Orange town property will be revisited at a Sept. 9 Town Hall meeting.

An article in the New Haven Register said the Board of Selectmen will revisit its approval after listening to the concerns of residents during the public comments of their meeting Wednesday.

The gun show, according to the article written by Pam McLoughlin, is a fundraiser for the American Legion Post 127 run by the Stratford Gun Collector’s Association. It is scheduled to be held at the High Plains Community Center.
