Orange Selectmen To Review Housing Growth Plan Group, $28K In Tax Refunds
Orange selectmen will review a housing growth plan group, $28,325 in tax refunds and a Lions Club fee waiver.
ORANGE, CT — The Orange Board of Selectmen will review plans for a Housing Growth Plan Working Group and consider more than $28,000 in tax refunds when it meets Wednesday, Sept. 9.
The board is also scheduled to consider waiving fees for the Orange Lions Club's annual Thanksgiving dinner before entering executive session for discussions involving a disability pension application, a dispatcher union agreement and settlement of a pending claim.

Board To Consider $28,325 In Tax Refunds
First Selectman Connor Zeoli is scheduled to present a request for approval of tax refunds totaling $28,325.66.
Lions Club Seeks Thanksgiving Dinner Fee Waiver
The Orange Lions Club is asking the town to waive its customary rental and custodial fees for the organization's annual Thanksgiving dinner, scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 29, at High Plains Community Center, 525 Orange Center Road.

Executive Session Could Be Followed By Three Votes
The selectmen are scheduled to enter executive session for three matters.
One involves a memorandum of agreement described on the agenda as a settlement related to the employment, evaluation and health of a public official or employee, including a disability pension application and physical examination.
The board will also discuss a tentative agreement involving the dispatcher union and HSA, along with a release agreement settling a pending claim.
After returning to its public meeting, the board could vote separately on all three matters.
The selectmen will also consider minutes from their Aug. 12 regular meeting. Items provided to the board for information include approved July 8 meeting minutes, appointments and reappointments, a health flyer and Funtober flyer.
The Sept. 9 meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the lower-level meeting room of Orange Town Hall, 617 Orange Center Road.
