The teen's mother is in a fight for her life and her daughter went above and beyond to thank the hospital in a touching way.

ORANGE, CT — A very touching human interest story out of Orange where Madison 'Maddie' Marcus, 14, is doing all she can to show her appreciation to Smilow Cancer Hospital for helping to keep her mother, Paulette alive, the New Haven Register reports.
She has baked and even danced to raise funds for the cancer hospital where her mom is receiving care. Maddie is an Amity High student and has already raised $3,500. Paulette Marcus is battling stage four cancer. To sign up for Orange breaking news alerts and more, click here.
