Orange Train Station Project on the Right Track

There has been talk in Orange of having its own train station for more than 15 years now.

Well that talk is getting louder as a necessary land swap has been completed, which is helping to move the project along, reports The Orange Times Editor Joseph Cole.

Orange Land Development, LLC purchased a 13-acre parcel on Marsh Hill Road from Dichello Distributors late last month.

While the land deal helps it’s still not a done deal, The Orange Times reports, as design and funding for the project still needs to be undertaken.

But officials say the land swamp was a vital step in the right direction.
