Orange Woman Assaults Man: Police

ORANGE, CT — An Orange resident is accused of assaulting a victim, police said. On Jan. 14, officers responded to the 800 block of Grassy Hill Road for a medical emergency, police said.

Officers’ investigation revealed that Susan A. Gonzalez-Diaz, 44, of Orange was intoxicated and struck another individual in the face and pulled his hair, police said. Subsequently, she was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and two counts of risk of injury to a minor.

She was held initially in lieu of a $2,500 bond.
