Orange Woman Burglarized Victim's Apartment: Milford Police

MILFORD, CT — An Orange woman is accused of burglarizing a home in Milford, police said. On Dec. 27, officers took custody of Yaridia Balfour, 41, of Grassy Hill Road in Orange, on an arrest warrant, police said.

On Oct. 28, police received a complaint that a resident's apartment room had been broken into and items were taken from the North Street residence, police said. Investigation led to the arrest of Balfour, who was developed as the suspect, police said.

She is charged with third-degree burglary and fifth-degree larceny. She was released after posting a $7,500 bond and is due to appear in court on Jan. 23.
