Orange Woman Operated Drug Factory: Police

The accused was released on a $5,000 bond.

ORANGE, CT — An Orange woman has been charged with several drug offenses including operating a drug factory, police said.

Officers conducting routine patrol observed a vehicle pull into the cul-de-sac on Silverbrook Road at 2:42 a.m. and meet with another vehicle that was already waiting there, police said. Due to the time of day, this appeared suspicious to officers, and they stopped one of the involved vehicles, police said.

Upon stopping the vehicle, officers located a variety of drugs, drug equipment, and packaging materials, police said. The driver of the vehicle was subsequently taken into custody and charged.

Morgan Gallagher, 23, of Orange is charged with possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a drug factory, illegal sale of marijuana, possession of narcotics with intent to sell. She was released after posting a $5,000 bond.
