Orange Woman Struck Person Who Questions Why Her Children Unsupervised at the Pool: Police
Police said they were called to the apartment complex after a verbal argument escalated.

ORANGE, CT — A 35-year-old local woman was arrested earlier this month after she allegedly struck a person who questioned her about her children being unsupervised at the apartment's pool area, police said.
Officers responded to the apartment complex at 75 Prindle Hill Road in regard to a disturbance in the pool area, police said. The complainant stated that she spoke with Samantha Bunnell, 35, about her children being unsupervised at the pool, police said.
An argument ensued, and Bunnell physically struck the complainant, police said. She was subsequently taken into custody and charged with breach of peace.

She was released on a promise to appear in Superior Court, Derby on Sept. 16.
