Just in time for Thanksgiving, first graders at Race Brook School learned all about what it was like to be a child in the 1700s.
A presenter from the Connecticut Historical Society Museum in Hartford showed how children in those times dressed, ate, worked, learned and played.
The students made horn books and learned how to make yarn.
