Reading Together Builds Character

There has been a change in our program. Our programs will be meeting from 2:20 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the dates below. Read below for details: One Book-One Read at Amity Middle School Orange. Students will be reading the novel Out of My Mind by Sharon Draper with participating teachers. Sessions will be 3 fun-filled after school events surrounding the themes in the book.

There will be fun activities, book trivia, games, videos, and snacks. Since we have only 60 copies of the book available, be sure to sign up in the school library or the main office at Amity Middle School Orange. You can also phone Mrs. Goss in the media center 203-392-3200 ext. 2042 or email her at nancy.goss@reg5.k12.ct.us to sign up. Books will be distributed on the first afternoon after school. All sessions will be held in Large Group Instruction Room Below are the dates: 1st afternoon--Tuesday, April 14th 2nd afternoon--Thursday, April 30th 3rd afternoon—Tuesday, May 19th Sessions start at 2:20 p.m. and run through 3:30 p.m. Late buses are available on these afternoons.
