Restaurant Employee Hits Worker With Pan: Orange Police

Police said they responded to the local restaurant recently.

ORANGE, CT — Two restaurant employees got into a fight while on the job, which led to charges for one of the men, Orange Police said. On Jan. 24, officers responded to the Wasabi Restaurant at 350 Boston Post Road for a reported disturbance, police said.

Officers learned that two kitchen workers had gotten into an argument, which later turned physical when Yu Qi Cao, 55, of Brooklyn, NY allegedly struck the other employee with a cooking pan, police said.

He was taken into custody and charged with second-degree breach of peace. He was released after posting a $1,000 bond.
