Sam's Club Employee Assaulted While on the Job: Orange Police
Police said a disagreement over the use of social media led to the physical altercation at the store.

ORANGE, CT — A Sam's Club employee was assaulted while on the job, Orange police said.
Police said officers responded to the Sam’s Club store at 2 Boston Post Road for a reported disturbance earlier this month. Officers learned that Rhonda McDougal, 28, of Mix Avenue in Hamden, had gotten into a disagreement with the victim in this case over social media, police said.
The disagreement turned physical when McDougal came to the Sam’s Club store, where the victim works, jumped behind the customer service counter, and assaulted her, police said.

The arrestee was subsequently taken into custody and charged with third-degree assault, second-degree harassment, second-degree breach of peace, and first-degree criminal trespass.
She was released after posting $1,000 bond.
