School officials suspended Geane for the entire school year without pay for posting comments on the Register’s online community forum, while he was supposed to be working and on Amity’s computers, the New Haven Register reports.

Geane, who would post under an alias would write comments that would likely be offensive to President Barack Obama, Democrats and supporters of gun control and immigration reforms, reports Kristin Stoller.

Amity conducted an internal investigation and Geane admitted he wrote the posts during the school day, the Register reports.

And this wasn’t Geane’s first offense, as he was suspended in 2011 for doing the same thing.

In an email to the Register, Geane said his comments on the forum were neither offensive or derogatory.
