Subway Employee Assaulted On The Job: Orange Police

Police say the accused entered the employees-only area and proceeded to assault the female employee.

ORANGE, CT — Orange Police say a West Haven teen is accused of assaulting a Subway Restaurant employee inside the business. On Jan. 19, officers responded to the Subway located at 116 Boston Post Road in regard to an assault complaint, police said.

Officers learned that Daylon London, 18, of West Haven, had arrived at the store and entered the employees-only area where he met a Subway employee that he knew, police said.

He grabbed the employee by her hair and dragged her out to the sales floor while striking her in the head, police said. Police arrived and London was arrested and he is charged with third-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace, sixth-degree larceny, and motor vehicle offenses.

He was released after posting a $500 bond.
