Suspect Sought In Armed Robbery At Home Depot In Orange: Police
The incident occurred on July 18. No injuries were reported.
ORANGE, CT — The Orange Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect in an armed robbery at the Home Depot in Orange on July 18, according to authorities.
The incident began when the suspect approached a cashier at the store with merchandise in his hands.
"After the cashier rang up the purchase, the suspect lifted up his shirt to display a handgun tucked into his waistband and told the cashier not to say anything," police wrote on Facebook. "The suspect then left with the merchandise and fled in a gray 2012 Chrysler Town and Country minivan bearing CT Reg '5AGVP4' that was reported stolen one week prior."

No injuries were reported. According to police, the same man is a suspect in a similar incident at the North Haven Home Depot on the same day, two hours before the Orange theft.
