Teacher Needs Your Help To Bring Bully to Amity
A simple visit to a website and your vote could win Amity a free screening of new "Must See" Film.

Did you know that 13 millions kids will be bullied this year? And that 3 million will miss school each month because they feel unsafe?
There's a great new documentary film, released March 30, called "Bully," that tells the stories of what bullied kids go through every day. (Amazingly, the MPAA has currently given the film an R rating! Joan Graves, head of the ratings board, defended the rating, saying the film includes epithets that are hurled at a 13-year-old bullying victim.)
Through a new national campaign, an Amity High School English Teacher is trying to bring the movie to the Amity High community and help create a school environment where everyone feels safe and welcome.
As an English teacher at Amity High School, a Link Crew coordinator, the advisor for the school's gay-straight alliance, PLAHD, and a member of the high school climate committee, Tasia Kimball is committed to helping all students feel supported at school.
Amity was once in second place, but have now it has dropped out of the top ten (and only the top ten locations win a free screening).
Kimball said she has heard from students, teachers, and Amity residents who want to help the school spread the message.
