There's Nothing 'Small' About This Guy
Chris Small is the grounds supervisor for the Orange Park & Recreation Department.

Don't let his name fool you — there's nothing tiny about Chris Small.
The Orange resident stands at a towering 6-foot 8-inches. And chances are you might have seen him around town sporting one of those bright orange T-shirts that Town employees wear.
Small is the grounds supervisor for the Orange Park & Recreation Department, a position he has had since October. "I'm the new blood," he jokes.
While Small may be new to the Park & Recreation Department, he's certainly not new to Orange. He grew up in town and still lives here with his wife, Maria, their 2-year-old son, Cooper, and 1-month-old twin boys, Quentin and Topher.
Small brings to the job a wealth of experience in grounds-keeping, most recently with Racebrook Country Club. In total, the Amity High graduate has worked at golf courses for about 15 years.
So waking up to be at work for 6 a.m. is a breeze for Small. "That's late for me," he says.
His commute to work is also nearly nonexistent, and he enjoys tending to the property in the town he calls home.
"I love it," he says.
