The Amity Varsity Boys' Lacrosse team hosted two home games this week. On Monday, April 30, they took on North Haven and lost 6-5. On Thursday, May 3, the game against Branford went into overtime, but ended in Amity's favor, 14-13. The Spartans' Joe Bianchi and Matt Milner each made three goals, Joe Choiniere (10) made two goals and Jake Milner, Tyler Vallie, Luke Sacramone, David Buono and Cole German each hit one in for the team. Bianchi and Buono both are credited with two assists and Milner, Choiniere, Sacramone, German and Akash Mehta each had assists. Charlie Pyne had 26 saves. The team made 23 shots.

Bridges Healthcare's 3rd annual Rock the Dock for Mental Health event is planned for Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 5:30pm at Lisman Landing, 37 Helwig Street, in Downtown Milford.
Rock the Dock will feature an evening of music by local band, The Alpaca Gnomes, and include two drink tickets and appetizers from local vendors plus a raffle and silent auction.
