Route 15 by Milford/Orange Reopened After Serious Multi-Vehicle Accident: UPDATE
One side of Route 15 was shut down for several hours Friday afternoon after a three-vehicle accident.

MILFORD/ORANGE, CT — As of 6:40 p.m. Friday Route 15 northbound in Milford by Exits 55A and 55B have fully reopened after being closed for several hours after a serious multi-vehicle accident with injuries, Connecticut State Police said.
Both sides of Route 15 on the Milford/Orange line were shut down for a period of time Friday. The southbound side opened after about an hour, while the northbound side was shut down for almost four hours Friday afternoon. The accident was first reported just after 2:30 p.m. Friday.
Motorists had to navigate around the road closure, which led to major delays for people trying to get home from work Friday.

MILFORD - RT15 Northbound CLOSED between Exits 55A and 55B because of Motor Vehicle Accident (3 Vehicle). Congested between Exits 52 and 56 (6.0 miles). Reported Friday, May 12 at 2:52 pm.
