Two Charged in Extreme I-95 Road Rage Incident
One man was charged with attempt to commit murder and the other had serious charges as well.

State Police arrested two men who were allegedly involved in a road rage incident on I-95 northbound near exit 41.
Police applied for and were granted arrest warrants with the Milford Superior Court.
Jesus Izaguirre, 39, of Hidalgo, TX was charged with criminal attempt of first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and first-degree reckless endangerment. He was held in lieu of $500,000 bail. He was released from the hospital on June 28 and taken into police custody

Juan Calderon, 33, of Orange was arrested and charged with criminal attempt to commit murder, first-degree reckless endangerment, first-degree assault and unlawful discharge of a firearm. He was held in lieu of $275,000 bail. He turned himself in on June 28.
Police said that the June 25 incident was potentially the result of aggressive driving.

A passenger vehicle exited the highway at exit 41 and a tractor trailer operator pulled over to the right shoulder of I-95, police said.
The tractor trailer operator ran up to the driver’s side passenger vehicle while it was stopped for a traffic signal and struck the operator with an unknown object, causing a laceration, according to police.
The passenger vehicle operator exited his vehicle and gave chase to the tractor trailer operator while armed with a 9mm pistol. The operator had a permit for the gun.
He fired several shots at the tractor trailer driver and hit him with several bullets, police said. The tractor trailer driver got in his vehicle and left the scene before coming to a stop near exit 44.
Both operators were taken to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
