Volunteer at Orange Dance Studio Downloaded Child Pornography: Police
BREAKING: Police say the accused is being held in lieu of a $200,000 bond.
ORANGE, CT — A 43-year-old West Haven man, who was volunteering at an Orange business has been charged with possession of child pornography, Orange police said.
After an extensive investigation including multiple search warrants, and with the assistance of the Milford and West Haven Police Departments, the Orange Police Department has arrested David Kent, 43, of West Haven, on the charge of first-degree possession of child pornography.
The investigation revealed that Kent had been downloading child pornography utilizing the IP Address assigned to a local business in Orange, The New England Ballet - 200 Boston Post Road, where he was a volunteer, police said. The owners and staff were unaware of Kent’s actions and were fully cooperative with the investigation, police stressed in a news release.

Kent is being held on $200,000 bond and will be arraigned in Derby Superior Court Today.
