Woman Charged With DUI After Motor Vehicle Accident: Orange Police

ORANGE, CT — A Shelton woman, 48, is accused of driving while under the influence in Orange and was involved in a motor vehicle accident late last month, police said. On Sept. 26, officers responded to a two vehicle accident on Route 34, police said.

Upon investigation, officers smelled a strong odor of alcoholic beverage emanating from Patricia A. Santilli's breath, police said. She was asked to perform standardized sobriety field tests and she was taken into custody and charged with DUI and following too closely.

Her court date is Oct. 10.
