Woman Charged With DUI In Orange: Police

Police say the accused was stopped by an officer earlier this month.

ORANGE, CT — A Derby resident has been charged with DUI, Orange Police say. On Sept. 9, Officers conducting a motor vehicle stop on Derby Avenue came into contact with Nadejda V. Skedgell, police said. Skedgell had a strong odor of an unknown alcoholic beverage emanating from her, police said.

She was asked to perform standardized sobriety field tests, police said. Subsequently, she was taken into custody and charged with DUI.
