Woman Charged With Identity Theft, Forgery: Orange PD
The accused was originally held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.

ORANGE, CT — A Bronx, New York woman is accused of identity theft and forgery offenses, Orange Police said. Cynda M. Williamson, 50, was held on a $5,000 bond, police said.
On Nov. 27, officers responded to 262 Boston Post Road (Chase Bank) in regard to a fraud impersonation report, police said.
Officers’ investigation revealed that Williamson was using a fraudulent ID to cash a check that did not belong to her, police said.

She also provided officers with a fraudulent name, police said. Subsequently, she was taken into custody and charged with second-degree forgery, criminal impersonation, identity theft, interfering with an officer and criminal attempt to commit fifth-degree larceny.
