Woman Charged With Larceny Offenses: Orange Police

She was initially held in lieu of a $1,000 bond and later posted bail, police said.

ORANGE, CT — A West Haven woman is accused of conspiring to commit a larceny in Orange, police said. On Oct. 26, the West Haven Police Department stopped Elizabeth Smoly, 33, of West Haven, and discovered she had an active outstanding arrest warrant out of the Orange Police Department, police said.

She was transported to the Orange Police Department. Subsequently, she was taken into custody and charged with conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny and aiding and abetting fifth-degree larceny from an incident that occurred on June 16, police said.
