Woman Had Drugs In Her Vehicle, Gave Police Wrong Name: Orange PD

She is facing several charges.

ORANGE, CT — A Waterbury woman is accused of being in possession of drugs while she was driving in Orange, police said. On March 22, police noticed that a car driven by Megan Frohn, 19, of Waterbury, had an expired registration, police said.

Upon stopping the vehicle, the driver gave officers a different name, a person that officers later learned was Frohn's sister, police said. Officers later confirmed the accused's true identity and searched the vehicle, police said. This search resulted in the seizure of marijuana, suspected heroin, drug paraphernalia, and a license plate that belonged to another car, police said.

She is charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, interfering with an officer, and several motor vehicle violations.
