Woman Shoves Waitress At Restaurant: Orange Police

Police said the accused tried to leave a restaurant with an alcoholic beverage.

ORANGE, CT — A New Haven woman was charged after she tried to leave a restaurant with an alcoholic beverage, Orange police said. On Aug. 15 officers responded to 220 Indian River Road, On The Border, in regards to a dispute between a customer and a waitress after Nicole Nelson, 25, tried to leave the eatery with an alcoholic beverage, police said.

As Nelson was leaving the restaurant she shoved the waitress in the face with an open hand, police said. She was taken into custody and charged with second-degree breach of peace.
