Woman Wanted in Orange Arrested in Milford: Police
A shoplifting arrest ended up leading to a $15,500 bond as the accused had multiple arrest warrants, police said.

MILFORD, CT — A shoplifting incident at Victoria's Secret at the Connecticut Post Mall ended up leading to a $15,500 bond for the accused, police said. On March 3, officers responded to the store because a shoplifter was in custody, police said.
Investigation led to the arrest of Aliah Washington, 19, of Hoolach Street in New Haven, who is accused of taking about $50 worth of merchandise without paying, police said. She also provided a false name of Sanya Green, all the way through her fingerprint processing, police said.
She is also accused of failing to appear in court on Sept. 13, 2017 stemming from an assault arrest in New Haven on Jan. 22, 2017 and for failing to appear in court in Orange on Aug. 25, 2017, police said.

She is charged with sixth-degree larceny, interfering with an arrest, second-degree forgery, and two counts of second-degree failure to appear.
