1 Dead After Fiery Crash in Oxford: Report

OXFORD, CT — One person was killed in a Saturday morning accident on Maple Tree Hill Road after a pickup truck crashed into a ravine, and then burst into flames, the Connecticut Post reports.

The accident occurred at 6:30 a.m. and State Police are investigating. The victim's identity has not yet been released as of Monday morning.

When firefighters arrived the driver was trapped inside the vehicle, which was on its side and the vehicle was engulfed in flames, the Post reports.
