2 Suspects 'Tentatively Identified' In Oxford Store Theft: Police

Officers found the vehicle seen in a viral video in New Haven, and will search is once a warrant is approved, police said.

OXFORD, CT — Connecticut State Police have a tentative ID on two of the four people seen on video stealing items from Market 32 in Oxford, according to a news release.

Police are not identifying the potential suspects at this time, the news release from the Oxford Resident Trooper's Office said.

In a video that has been shared widely on social media, four people are seen loading laundry detergent, paper products, and other items into two vehicles.

Officers found the tan minivan seen in the video in New Haven, and will search it once a warrant is approved, the news release said.

According to the News Times, Sergeant John Acampora said this group of suspects may be linked to a dozen similar thefts statewide
