3 People Taken to Hospital After Oxford Accident: Report

OXFORD, CT — Three people went to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident that occurred Thursday afternoon on Oxford Road, the Republican-American reports.

According to the Rep-Am, Stephen Bacchiocchi, 44, of Wakelee Avenue in Ansonia, struck a vehicle from behind as it waited to turn onto Christian Street. He was cited for the accident, the Rep-Am reports. An Oxford woman, who was driving the vehicle that was hit from behind, went to the hospital.

Both vehicles were badly damaged.
