Accident Leads to Citations in Oxford: Report

A motor vehicle accident in Oxford led to a minor injury on Wednesday afternoon.

Both drivers were issued citations for their role in the accident, the Republican-American reports.

John Dempsey, 63, of Oxford allegedly didn’t obey a stop sign which contributed to the accident, the Rep-Am reports. He suffered a minor injury.

The other driver, Sanya Marie Kayfus, 16, of Oxford was cited because she had a 15-year-old in her car. Both vehicles were damaged.
