Oxford Man Charged With Burglary at Local Business

The 32-year-old man has two other pending cases for similar crimes, according to court records.

An Oxford man has been charged with burglarizing a Southbury business earlier this month.

Kristopher Dailey, 32, of Oxford, was charged with third-degree burglary, possession of burglar’s tools, second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree larceny on March 20 in connection with a burglary at Classic Coach, 1139 Southford Road in Southbury, on March 3.

Several vehicles were broken into in the parking lot of Classic Coach Works, on March 3 around 11 p.m., police said. Several tools were taken from one of the vehicles and other vehicles had their windows broken out. Security camera footage captured Dailey's vehicle at the scene, police said.

Dailey was held on $50,000 court-set bond and did not enter a plea during his arraignment last week. He is being held on a $50,000 bond, according to court records. His next court date is April 18 in Waterbury. 

Dailey was charged in January with several crimes, including drug charges, after being accused of breaking into cars at a Subaru dealership in Wallingford. That case is pending as is a case from Naugatuck, where he was charged in January with criminal mischief and breach of peace.

He has two convictions in Connecticut for third-degree assault and one for strangulation, according to court records.
