Arrest Made In Oxford Tanning Salon Burglary
A suspect has been arrested in connection with an October 2021 break-in at Tommy's Tanning.
OXFORD, CT — A suspect has been arrested by state police in connection with a break-in at Tommy's Tanning in Oxford from last October, authorities announced.
James Aspinwall, 45, was arrested on warrants Wednesday charging him with third-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief.
In addition to the burglary at the tanning salon, Aspinwall also is a suspect in break-ins at Rolando's and Nardelli's restaurants in Oxford, according to authorities.

Details about the burglaries were not disclosed.
State police said Aspinwall was developed as a suspect through a "collaborative effort" between the Oxford Resident Trooper's Office, state police detectives, and members from other nearby police departments.

Aspinwall also is a suspect in similar burglaries in other nearby communities, state police said.
He was held in lieu of bail of $75,000, and he is scheduled to appear in Derby Superior Court at a later date.
