Black Hog Brewing Company in Oxford Hosting Charity Event

The event will feature beer-inspired appetizers, a beer and cheese pairing class.

On Thursday, February 25th, Black Hog Brewing Company (Oxford, CT) and Caseus Fromagerie (New Haven, CT) will host the first ever Hogs N’ Curds event at Colonial Tavern, 24 Hawley Road, Oxford.

This event will benefit Connecticut Partnership for Children, Inc., a 501c3 organization located in Seymour and dedicated to supporting low-income children throughout the state.

The event will feature beer-inspired appetizers, a beer and cheese pairing class, and beer-inspired sweets from Wildflour Confections (Seymour, CT). During the pairing class, guests will sample Black Hog beer and CT made cheeses, as well as Winding Drive jams (Woodbury, CT) and local honey. The event is focused on supporting local small businesses, while benefitting a good cause.

Tickets are $50 per person, and include all appetizers, the class, and dessert. A cash bar will be available after the class, while guests mingle. There is limited seating available and tickets will not be sold at the door. Tickets are available online now at www.ctpfc.org or by calling CT Partnership (203) 881-1804.

The doors open at 5:45 and close promptly at 6:30pm for the class. No late arrivals, please. The class is approximately 1.5 hours, dessert, music, and cash bar will immediately follow.
