Board of Finance Approves Several Oxford School Projects

Several of the projects have been forwarded to the Town Meeting.

OXFORD, CT — The Oxford Board of Finance approved several school-related projects at its most recent meeting. $63,775 was approved for additional playground and sandbox for Quaker Farms School. It has been forwarded to the Town Meeting.

$5,800 to replace three water fountains and water filling stations at Great Oak Middle School. It has been forwarded to the Town Meeting.

$51,388 to replace the oil tank at Great Oak Middle School. Again it will be decided at the Town Meeting.

$7,527 to replace tile in the library at Oxford High School. It has been forwarded to the Town Meeting.

$1,687 to repair the floor separation at Oxford High School.

$23,920 to remove and replace boys lockers at Oxford High. Forwarded to Town Meeting.

$175,985 and $78,704 for switches and wireless access points for all schools. Forwarded to Town Meeting.

$104,000 for the removal and disposal of asbestos materials at Great Oak Middle School. Forwarded to Town Meeting.
