'Untimely Death' Investigated In Oxford: UPDATE

OXFORD, CT — State Police are investigating an "untimely death" in Oxford. On June 1 at 2:50 p.m., Troop A personnel responded to the Stevenson Dam in Oxford to investigate an untimely death after a deceased body was located on that property.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will be conducting a post mortem examination to determine cause and manner of death. The identity of the deceased is not being released at this time and there is no criminal aspect to this investigation, State Police said.
