Bomb Threat Placed to Oxford Power Plant
State Police said the bomb squad was brought in to investigate. BREAKING

OXFORD, CT — A bomb threat was placed at the site of the Towantic Power Co. plant in Oxford on Wednesday morning, State Police said.
At approximately 8:30 a.m., troopers from the Troop A–Southbury and the Oxford Resident State Trooper’s Office responded to a phoned-in bomb threat at Towantic Power Company in Oxford. The Connecticut State Police bomb squad assisted. Nothing was found and the scene was cleared, State Police said.
