Join the Oxford Cultural Arts Commission for a special four-part plein air painting series at Oxford Blooms, where artists will gather throughout the summer to capture the changing landscape of this beautiful garden space. By returning to the same location over the course of the season, participants will have the opportunity to document how light, color, and plant life evolve from early summer into late season bloom.
Artists are encouraged to bring their own supplies and work in any medium—painting, drawing, watercolor, pastel, or sketching. Whether you’re a seasoned plein air painter or simply curious about trying something new, artists of all levels are warmly welcome.
Each session will run 5:30 PM until sunset, allowing participants to enjoy the golden evening light while creating alongside fellow artists in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Bring your materials, find a view that inspires you, and watch the summer unfold one painting at a time.
