Ceremonial Wet Down Will Be Held for New Oxford Fire Engine

The Oxford Center Fire Co. will hold a ceremonial "wet down" of its new fire engine from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, at Oxford Center Fire Co., 484 Oxford Road, Route 67.

The new engine, No. 42, which was built by Pierce Manufacturing, is now being detailed out of state.

Food and refreshments will be served at the event next month, and T-shirts will also be available.
