Charity Scavenger Hunt coming to Oxford on June 6th.
Scour Oxford for clues and hints while raising money for Charity!
Oxford Friends for Charity will be hosting their inaugural Charity Scavenger Hunt to promote community awareness and support local and national charities. On Saturday, June 6, the Scavenger Hunt will kick off at 3:30 pm at Oxford Greens, with a 4:00pm shotgun start. The finish and post event BBQ dinner and awards celebration will begin at 8pm at Oxford Greens.
“We all have a charity that is near and dear to us. We promise a challenging strategic adventure and a great time with your friends in our Oxford community. Participant’s mission is to play hard and have some laughs while competing for a chance to raise money for your favorite charity”, says Barbara Steneck, co-founder of Oxford Friends for Charity.
This is an adult only Scavenger Hunt that will consist of 4-person or 5-person teams working together to decipher and locate over 20 clues hidden in the Oxford area, while completing challenging riddles and puzzles for extra points. Cost is $250-$300 per team, with all proceeds going to the winning teams 501 c 3 registered charity of choice. Registration deadline is May 16th.

“We had so much fun participating in a charity scavenger hunt last year, so Barb and I wanted to bring this fun event to our hometown. It’s a great way for the community to work together for a great cause”, says Patty Sullivan, co-founder of Oxford Friends for Charity.
