The Community of Oxford Cleans Up Together

The Oxford Conservation Commission Inland Wetlands Agency thanks the many volunteers who pledged to clean up in the Town of Oxford.

The Oxford Conservation Commission Inland Wetlands Agency would like to thank the many volunteers who pledged to clean up the properties and streets in the Town of Oxford by participating in our annual April Town Wide Cleanup. The various groups, businesses, and individuals accomplished a huge amount of work as they cleaned up the roadways, beach area, parks, playgrounds, schools, commercial and retail parking lots and areas along the brooks and rivers. A special thank you goes out to Girl Scout Troop 60603, the Great Oak Middle School Enrichment Program, student council, and the softball and baseball teams, the Oxford High School Football Team, Competitive Power Ventures (CPV), and Georges Floor Covering.

A special thank you goes to Susan Purcella Gibbons a volunteer on the OCCIWA for more than 15 years and for spear heading the town wide clean-up for the past decade.
