Concerns Raised Over Proposed Oxford Greens Zoning Change
The development, which includes a golf course, wants to add specific types of housing units.

OXFORD, CT — The Village at Oxford Greens senior living development is seeking a zoning change that would remove dozens of single-family homes in favor of nearly 200 assisted living units, reports the Waterbury Republican-American.
The proposed changes do not sit well with several area residents, who complained at a Planning and Zoning meeting this week that traffic will increase and the character of the neighborhood will change with what they consider to be apartments instead of homes.
A representative for the developer said the proposal is for a managed care community that would remain restricted.
