Congrats! to Oxford's Kenneth Ventresca

He was promoted at the Connecticut State Police.

Sergeant Kenneth Ventresca Sgt. Ventresca was promoted from Detective and will now serve at Troop G in Bridgeport; most recently he was assigned to the Western District Major Crime Squad. As a Trooper for nine years, he has received two Lifesaving Awards. Sgt. Ventresca attended the University of New Haven and lives in Oxford with his family.

The Connecticut State Police promoted 20 Troopers to Sergeant, Lieutenant and Major during a ceremony at the State Police Training Academy on Thursday, April 2, 2015.

Dr. Dora B. Schriro, Commissioner of the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, and Colonel Brian Meraviglia, Commanding Officer of the State Police, formally promoted the Troopers during the ceremony. Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman also attended and addressed the promotees.
