Congregational Church to Sponsor Talk on Surviving Safety Threats

September 29 following worship

A program on facing and surviving serious safety threats is planned for Sunday, September 29, at 11 a.m. at the United Church of Christ Congregational in Oxford following the morning worship service. The church is located at 3 Academy Road, off Route 67 in the center of Oxford. There is no charge and the public is invited.

Officer Tony Cipriano, an officer with the Oxford Police Department, will outline safe strategies to use in today’s world when facing emergencies such as home or church invasion or gun violence. A question and answer period will follow.
