"Kick Cancer" Self Defense class

The class is taught by Amy Cote, third degree black belt and Director of the Institute of Martial Arts in Oxford.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

The class is $20 per person.

“Kick Cancer” is hosted by team “Hoofin’ it for Healthy Hooters” who will be walking in the Koman for the Cure 3-day/60-mile walk in Boston this July.

The team is made up of Oxford residents, Tina Aldo, Jennifer Coan-Mahmood, Kelly Donohue, and Tara Gurecki. Each walker must raise a minimum of $2,300 in donations to participate in the walk. Funds from the Komen three-day events are invested in breast cancer research, education, and community outreach programs.
