Through this in-depth 3 part course our experienced auxiliary instructors will teach you how to read a nautical Chart and understand its’ symbols. You will learn about latitude, longitude, compass variation as well as deviation and water depth and the effect of tides. You will be introduced to navigational tools to help you determine location, how to plot a course from point A to B and to calculate distances.
