Animals For Life will host its 9th Annual Run for Rescue at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, April 30th at Quassy Amusement Park. Waterbury Commons is sponsoring the event.
The Run for Rescue is comprised of three separate events. Humans may run solo in a certified 5K race or run with their dog on a two mile course. Others who prefer to walk can do so in an untimed 2 mile walk.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. on the day of the race.online registration is available atwww.active.com and registration forms can be downloaded from www.animalsforlifect.org

There will be a dog and cat adoption area, food and refreshments, goodie bags, dog obedience demonstrations and much more.
