Presentation is part of monthly Caregiver Support Group at The Watermark at East Hill

On Wednesday, July 29, The Connecticut Chapter of The Alzheimer’s Association and The Watermark at East Hill will host a Caregiver Support Group designed to provide the caregivers of those living with Alzheimer’s or other memory-related disorders with updated information, emotional support, and problem solving solutions related to providing care.
The group meets the last Wednesday of every month from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the senior living community located at 611 East Hill Road in Southbury.
July’s meeting will feature guest speakers from Western Connecticut Regional Hospice, who will discuss hospice options available for people living with dementia, Alzheimer’s or other forms of memory loss.
The support group will be led by Denise Julian, Director of Health Services at The Watermark at East Hill. In addition to providing support, she will help educate caregivers on basic information and skills needed to provide quality care for people living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of memory loss.
The Caregiver Support Group is free of charge and open to the public, however reservations are required. Reservations can be made up until the day of the support group by calling The Watermark at East Hill at 203-262-6868.
